I'm new here - I've got a 2014 Cadenza and am wanting to replace the factory headlight bulbs with new bright white HID's - any help and/or suggestions on which ones to buy and how difficult is it to replace them...thanks in advance!!
I agree 100%, we need to know which model you have, but we can help either way. We'll need a bit more info on what kind of lights you have already in order help. My car has halogens and I think most '14s do unless you have an SXL (there are a few exceptions). If you have halogens you'd have to get a conversion kit, which, if you're going to do that I don't see why you wouldn't just go LED. k5optimastore (a vendor here) has some pretty good parts for our cars, you may check over there as they have conversion kits.
Sorry to hear about the (1) bulb burning out. Email me about that if you haven't already!I've personally been looking at bulbs lately but I've been focusing on the rating of the bulb more. I have LED fogs in my car from K5OS, but unfortunately 1 of them burned outThey also have a higher K rating then my halogen lights and I think it looks a bit funky to have nice white fogs and yellow headlights so I'm on the fence about what to do. I'm not sure technically inclined when it comes to cars and I wouldn't be doing my own conversion, thus, paying for the conversion kit, plus bulbs, plus I believe the H7 bulb our car uses needs an additional adapter that doesn't come with the kit.
Thank you so much for providing the link. Here is a link to the Cadenza parts page from K5OS: https://www.k5optimastore.com/collections/kia-cadenza-products <-- I get no kickbacks or anything from this, I've just used several of their products and know they are good, the guys are pretty responsive too, great customer service. Paul usually lurks and is always eager to help if you have questions.
