Cutchfield is a great resource for size and part numbers. I have a 2016 cadenza, replaced my lower doors with 6 1/2" Kickers. My driver side upper (small, high speaker) look on eBay for interior mirror cover trim with speaker, instead of the $300 something Kia wanted, I was able to get one used that worked great for $15.

 

how did you install the kicker speakers in the door? did you have to hack up the old mounting plate or did you use some universal mounting plate?

 

That's been about 2 years ago since I did the lower ones, if I remember correctly I think I bolted them straight to the door without any kind of bracket. Looking at the pictures on crutchfield, my old speakers were blown, I might have cut them out of the black plastic rings and mounted them to those. You don't I'm pretty sure six and a half inch fits perfect. The only reason for the black plastic ring is for added depth, if the speakers you're using require more depth.

 

I went infinity kappa in my doors. I just replaced the woofers and left the factory tweeter. Sounds great
