My 2014 cadenza ...I noticed when you crank the wheel fully there seems to be a grinding noise...Now the wheel speed sensor failed apparently the design allows it to be damaged if the steering is turned fully right or left?
Now I have no ABS, Cruise control, auto hold, anti skid control and the power steering is at the minimum setting - very heavy... all because the wheel speed sensor is failed. Dealership said it is a bad design and has ordered a new part. Wonder how long I will have to wait? Its snowing and very icy and I don't like driving it without the ABS or anti skid control working. When they get the new part I will post more details!

Mine did the same thing, but they claimed it was not covered under warranty. It cost me $386 to repair. The part is cheaper online and takes 20 minutes to swap.

Yeah, they claimed I hit road debris, yet the rest of the car was fine... Of course I had an aftermarket suspension on it just before it occurred, so I wasn't going to argue.

In the future, I will do it myself.

Well I just got the car back today, so 3 weeks to get the part. All fixed under warranty and they rented me a car. Great to get my Cadenza back. Too bad the parts are made from Unobtainium!!! Love my car just wish they would stock some parts.

You mentioned the wheel speed sensor on line order - could you post a web link?

Thanks

Same thing happened to me when the car was around 1 year old. It does get damaged if you turn the wheel fully left or right. I made a right up on how to fix/patch it up until you get a replacement or your lease is up as in my case. My dealer claimed an animal chewed through it, but that was clearly not the case and I ended up just soldering it back together and putting alot of electrical tape around it. Has been problem free ever since.
