Hello all,


I stumbled upon a Kia dealership that has a Certified 2014 Premium Cadenza for sale. 14,200 miles. They've had the car for pushing four months now. They dropped the price from $24,988 this month down to $21,988. I have them down to $20,988 now and I'm trying even more. I think they are desperate to get it off the lot because of the amount of time they've had it. If they don't budge anymore am I crazy to not accept it for $20,988?

It was a Kia employee car that they turned back in. It's in great shape.

Also- every pricing I've seen puts this certified car at $26k-27k.

Does it have a technology or luxury package?
If it has those don't pass it up

Buy it. I had the same thing happen to me. Dealer had it almost 200 days. Best car I have ever owned!

Agree with gene, if it has lux package, or lux with tech, it's a steal. If it's a base premium, walk...I don't care how cheap it goes for.

At 6' 5", the only Cadenza I even considered was the base model. That sunroof (like all the others) cuts way too much headroom out of the car for me. For a comparison, I bought a new 2014 off the lot earlier this month for $27k plus tax, 25% less than MSRP. I'd say you're getting a pretty solid deal as is, so anything else you can negotiate is just gravy.

$19,988.00 for a base model is good but you'll wish you had more packages on it. 6' 2" and sun roof is fine for me

You're giving up so much, trust me. Cooled seats, HID, Better instrument cluster, I think the rear sun shade isn't even on the base, likely the sunroof...trust me, the base is a fleet type car, like a nice rental car, but is missing a lot.

That's why they are so happy to entertain your offers on it. Anyone that knows the Cadenza knows base model is scaled way back.


I think even memory seats/steering/mirrors are missing, heated rear is missing...
