Anybody done roof racks on the Cadenza? I'm considering getting something to haul things with. Anything from wood to a paddle board, possibly even a bike. I've never looked at racks for cars before, i'm pretty sure to do what i want to do there may need to be more then one option.

Even if i had to get 2 different racks, one for the board and one for the bike, **** might even consider a hitch connection for the bike rack too...just looking for options. I'm guessing it's harder to find something for a rare car as opposed to some of the more plentiful cars out there. My plan is to eventually buy a truck, but i still have 3 years warranty left on the Cadenza, so i might as well try something, don't want to hold up the hobbies.

Can they do that with a glass roof? I know we have metal on the sides surrounding that but is that substantial enough to mount those without damaging anything?

Yeah, i don't know. I have seen cars with full glass roofs with bars too. Never seen a Cadenza with that setup. Was hoping someone had done it successfully and could offer any insight.

But the more i look at it, it get's costly. Racks $400-$500. Trailer hitch idea can really cost some cash too once you get the other mounting parts after the hitch. All just doesn't seem cost effective. Would make sense if I tried all this a few years ago when I first got the car, then the value would be there. But I'm under the last 3 years of the extended warranty, likely could trade it in before then.
