Trunk switch

It has been convenient to be able to open the trunk on our Cadenza by lightly depressing the switch on the right side of the trunk lid without having to go inside and retrieving the Key Fob. That functionality has ended. I have to have the key in my pocket. No, the car is not locked. Your thoughts?

If all 4 doors are unlocked, then yes you can open the trunk as it sits there without the fob in your pocket...at least that is the case with the '14 as I recall. I don't like that. If I'm waiting for the kids to get in the car, someone could easily pop the trunk while I sit there playing with the phone and run off with anything back there before I have a chance to realize it. Bad feature. Should be with fob only from outside.
There is a "valet" button in the glove compartment that disables the trunk. Open the glove box, feel near the front top, and push the button. That should solve it. Had the same problem, and took it to the dealer. They showed me.

Excellent tip! Thanks.
