Hello everyone, today I left my car to detailing shop to clean engine. After one and a half hour I’ve got a call that they couldn’t move to stick. When I’ve got there I had a check engine light and a EPB yellow light was on and there was no way to move the stick to any position. So after taking to mech shop, and I let the car sit for 4-5 hours. After 5 hours i took out air filter and jiggled with the cables and mechanical connection to transmission. And using shift lever lock I was able to get it to move but car is way to hard on shifting also side note. Even without shifting when I just touch to the shifter it thinks it’s in reverse. Either when i put in drive as well it gets confused and constantly opens the camera and can’t get decide if it’s in reverse or not. For me seems to be some electrical issue. Some water got somewhere that is not supposed to go in. Any ideas ?

EPB is the Electronic Parking Brake - could be related or not. Since it started happening after the engine bay wash/detail, would assume that water got somewhere it shouldn't have. Definatley look at wiring harness connectors going to the transmission. Trace wiring back from the transmission to wherever it originates from (presumably in the engine bay near the ECM) and examine connectors for water intrusion or corrosion there as well.

Well bad news is that I might have to change transmission module. I’m just hoping some plug got wet.

Hello there again, if possible can you help me out with the location of Transaxle sensor A ? And relay of it ? I wanna check those before I dig deep in. Because transmission computer looks fine and no evidence of water damage

Well turns out that transaxle positioning sensor has shorted. Just put a new one and it works perfectly fine
