Hey guys and gals, I'm looking for some information on new tires. Went up for a drive in the mountains and took a turn too sharp and caught a sharp edge of the road (I think) and popped my back tire. Luckily I didn't have much tread left on any of the tires, so I was looking to get all 4 replaced anyway. Does anyone have any recommendations for new tires for our car? I have searched the forum and found that some people are running Bridgestone Turanza Quiet Tracks, which is what Costco recommended I get, and luckily they are on sale right now too. Just want to see if anyone running those has any updates on tread life, or if anyone has a better suggestion for tires.
Thanks!!

I've been running the Bridgestone Turanza QT's since last August and have no complaints. But that could also be because I suffered with the TERRIBLE OEM Hankook's for over a year (even after two were replaced under warranty). I immediately noticed the quiet ride (the HK's always had the rumble of a bad bearing), improved braking (no joke, significant improvement) and a more secure feel at highway speeds. Since I've not measured thread depth, I cannot speak to how they are wearing. Winter driving is 'meh' on these (sacrifice of an all-season tire). Driving in ECO helps with grippage in the snow, is what I've noticed. I would suggest (as noted on many tirerack reviews) running a hire pressure than what the car dictates. At that pressure the tires look underinflated.

Do let us know what you decide!
