... and I picked up my new Cadenza in Satin Metal with the Luxury and Tech packages. I traded in a 2010 Genesis (without Tech). The car is terrific and I'm lovin all the new electronic toys.
Well I would say I was expecting to feel a little cramped, since the Cadenza is slightly smaller than the Genesis. That just wasn't the case. And the trunk is huge. It seems quieter/smoother as well, but that could be because of the new tires.Awesome, MichaelOne! Congratulations and welcome to the forum.
Yes that darn commercial is provocative...
I'm sure that we'll all be interested in an ongoing comparo between the Gennie and the new Cadenza. Please let us know how you feel about the new car and how it compares to the "old" one.

Michael,...since the Cadenza is slightly smaller than the Genesis.
...what Beez said......or was this a coupe you are comparing it too? that would just be weird
Yes, it was the full size. Sorry for not being clear.Michael,
I'm guessing that you had the full-size Genesis?![]()
I was also looking at the Genesis R-Spec, amazing sedan IMO but just like you the gas mileage was a turn off. Reviewers love it enough....I was interested in the Genesis R-Spec for some time. Nice car, nice power, but gas mileage, price, and somewhat "milktoast" styling made me think twice.
It's nice that you are appreciating the Cadenza in comparison, though.
Keep us posted.
