I would think the floor of the back seat and trunk wall/floor would be ideal. I noted after taking out the lower seat to transport a load there was a lot of road noise coming from the bare metal under it, in that it is just the seat stopping that noise.
And I've also noted after long trips, the floor of the trunk is hot from the exhaust heat radiating up through the floor. I'd think some kind of insulation there would help with temp/sound, and may make aftermarket bass in the trunk sound a bit better too..
All that said, drove my wife's 2016 platinum Max today right after having driven my car. Man is that thing noisy and stiff compared to the Cadenza. Performance wise it's far superior to the Kia, but as far as quiet and comfort, it comes up real short. My point being, Kia already put some decent effort into this car already, so I wouldn't expect huge gains overall even if you put in 200 lbs of deadening in.
