Hello all,
I am in need of the antenna cover for my 2014 Cadenza. Do all Kias with the shark fin have the same antenna shell? I know some don't have Nav or Satellite but I just need the cover and I can buy a Forte or optima antenna on ebay cheap. Again, I only need the outer cover

Maybe go to a local Kia dealer and look at the Optimas. If it looks about right it may be worth the chance. Is it mounted into the car? Or is it just stuck up there with some adhesive somethingother? If it's mounted up there hardware wise then maybe make sure the other has the same mount points.

Thanks to all of your replies. The 10 dollar antennas are not what I was looking for. They are just stuck on the roof with double sided tape. I actually found a used Cadenza antenna on e-bay for 35 bucks. Install was not too bad, was able to get to everything through the rear dome light. Remove rear dome light and unplug nav wire. Squeeze a 19mm socket wrench on to nut holding antenna assembly on. Unplug satellite wire from outside. Reverse steps for reassembly. 20 minutes tops.

I'm trying to go through the done light. It koylije it will be a hard angle but I'll try this before dropping the headliner.. however, how do you get the wires off the current antenna? I'm afraid to just tug at them for fear of something breaking off. I have the new unit, and it doesn't look like it has anything other than a push in connection, but I want to be sure before I try to get the current wires off.... Thanks

There is currently another active thread on this topic that is being commented on daily and it has drawings and instructions from the factory manual. I suggest you do a search and that currently active thread should pop right up

I can't find this thread you're talking about. My cover popped off my antenna at some point last week, and I cannot find a suitable fix beyond just spending $130 on a whole new antenna assembly. I would love to find this thread with drawings and instructions.

Thanks!

My cover is being held on by clear packaging tape right now, it’s ugly but it works temporarily. I’m going to try using JB Weld to glue it on, just haven’t gotten around to it yet.
I used copper safe silicon calk to re-secure mine (all the plastic bosses were broken). That was just over a year ago, and so far, so good.
