I have been looking around for the info on if the SD card was specific per vehicle or possible per display.

I bought my car used and it didn't come with the SD card. I was searching the web to find out if it was possible for someone to copy the info and pass it along to fellow Kia members.

Does anyone know if this is possible to perform?

Not worth selling out $200 for the info since a smartphone and Bluetooth can do the same thing, but wouldn't mind having the capability to have the maps on the factory screen

When I ordered the new update I received the new card, but update did not work. Called the cadenza special
line and they got back to me. Wish I had written the buttons down. Had me push two buttons 3 times then push
another button once. it over rode the code thing. So yes it is possible to update with a card from any car

call the cadenza phone number and ask tell them you purchased the car then found out it didn't have the card in it
They may help you out. If you got it from a dealer he can help you also. You can also go on ebay type in map card for kia cadenza
you can buy an original map card for around $50.00 or less. More for an updated card

Once again, a Certified Pre Owned Cadenza from a Kia dealer would make sure it had the card.

thank you. I emailed them about my issue with my wheel and someone called today and too my concerns and said they were getting with the dealer and I should hear back from the Kia customer care people about their findings. Thankyou

I received a call from the dealership and they said they talked to a Kia customer care rep and long story short the dealership forgot to give me my SD card and they will be mailing out one today.

I'm still waiting on my other issues but thumbs up for Kia preferred carecustomer service.
