saw a Cadenza on a dealer lot - with an UP-CHARGE !

In NJ, the dealers are closed on Sundays.
I passed a car lot, and saw a Cadenza.
I stopped to look at it.
The pricing on the window sticker was exactly what I
expected based on price information released elsewhere.

BUT
I also saw an additional window sticker that
had an extra $3,000 added to the window sticker - an UP-CHARGE.

I've already talked to two dealers who are willing to go less than invoice here on the left coast.

Less than invoice for the new 2013 model? Where are you located?
The last photo is a Cadenza with only Luxury PkG

I'm in NorCal (SF East Bay) but one of the dealers is local and the other in SoCal (Orange County). These are both fairly large volume dealers.

Team Gunther Kia on the Alabama coast is offering the 2014 Cadenza with Lux and Tech package for $36,100 which is a $6,000.00 discount; that is of course if you qualify for all the incentives. That is where I bought my Aurora Black Pearl with White Interior. Salesman-Kyle, Sales Manager-Charles, and Finance Manager-Radu. Great car buying experience.

That's just amazing deal...if I knew earlier I probably fly there from NJ to save $4,000
many dealers have addendums to the car... mine is one of them.. we add

Tint
Etch
Pin Stripe
Nitrogen
Sealent
I am hoping that I can get one with tech for under $40,000.00 OTD and I would be very happy. I'm thinking that if I wait for the SXL (or whatever it might be called) that it would probably be about $4K more. It sounds like some of you guys are getting pretty good deals. Beez, getting those extra spiffs are helpful, too.

I really don't like when a dealership tries too force you into buying stuff you don't want, especially when it is obviously overpriced. Like John said some of it may meet your needs and wants, but then just offer a "menu" of items that they can install for you if you want them.

I don't know how old most of the readers are but I have been around since the 50's. What many dealerships used to do is put their dealership information on the back of the car like most still do today but they would then put clearcoat over it to make it almost impossible to remove for people like me that like a clean car. The courts made them abandon that process since it was forcing people to advertise for the dealership without compensation. Now you have the option to advertise for them or not since the advertisement can be easily removed if that is what you choose.
