Road bumps heard through AM radio

Road bumps are heard through Am radio when traveling less than 40mph. Sounds like a brief burst of static. Only on AM, not FM. At 47,000 miles I am already out of radio warranty. Anyone know what causes this?

I would guess a loose wire somewhere but honestly, no idea. Just enough for small vibrations to wiggle it and cause noise.
