I just had a Remote Start installed in my 2014 Cadenza Limited. It is from Automate and the model# is AUTOMATE 4114A Remote Start. Automate is a division of the company Directed whose products include Viper and 6 other brands. The link to the Remote Start is below.

The AUTOMATE 4114A Remote Start was $295.95 installed.

The Viper SmartStart GPS Module was $299.95 installed.

The Viper SmartStart GPS App for my Android phone, the GPS Premium 3 service plan, that’s good for three years, was $199.99.

Congrats! It's really a shame that remote start isn't standard or even an option.

I have had Remote Starts installed in my cars starting with my 1990 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe, 1995 Mark VIII, 1998 Ford Windstar Van. Then I started buying Cadillac’s and you could get factory installed Remote Starts. In 2003 my DTS came with Remote Start, so did my 2005 CTS, 2008 CTS and finally my 2011 DTS

I don’t know why a 2014 Cadenza Limited does not come with Remote Start, after all the car listed for $43,460.00. (I paid $37,000.00)

I heard a rumor the Kia has always been afraid of Lawsuits if the car is started while it is in a garage!
