My compass in the rear view mirror blinks quite a bit. It might blink once every few seconds, or go for 10 minutes without blinking a once. I took the car into the shop for some other issues that got fixed and I told them about the compass. They were able to see it do the blinking and found it needed reconfigured to our current zone. After they did that they watched for a while and never saw it blink. I was about 10 minutes off the lot and it started up again as normal. Anyone else having this issue?

yes, mine does it, too. I just had the nav update/radio volume update software work done today and they thought that update might fix it. but, no, it didn't. the service advisor was able to catch it blinking on video for a tech. ticket report; thinks there may be a problem inside the mirror unit. waiting to see if they have an answer. my build date was before september, 2013 and is premium with tech packages.
mine has blinked since day I bought it.
