I'm not a fan of the SXL Badging, so I changed things up a bit. I used the Hyundai / Kia foreign designed emblem ( LIMITED ) and added the 3.3 as well as the T-GDI emblem. I already know what you are going to say. I know the warranty is gone now, but hey it was a project car from the start. Once I started getting into the motor and all the custom wiring / electronics that was it. I keep saying I'm just about done with this car but I have a few more things I'd like to do. Right now my focus is on adding custom LED's in the headlight housings where they should already be for DRLs. I'm working with some folks to remove the start up I accept screen just because it is a PITA. And lastly working on a custom lower grille insert for the front. My focus was wrapped around power at first but I have achieved the goals I wanted to in that respect, and I also got the weight down a bit, now I'm just working on cosmetics and things that urk me.

That's a great Idea. I bet it looks good and the key is unique. I like having something a little different than others.
Wait what? What all have you done performance wise?
@ Beezwax so far added a custom K7 turbo kit, opened up the intake and exhaust a bit, as well as custom tuning and I was able to bring the weight down so far over a couple hundred lbs. There are really 3 ways that I've seen people play with this engine variant, you can simply add a custom intake / exhaust and maybe a FAI unit, you might see gains of somewhere around 30 horse. You can go with a bolt on type supercharger, or you can go with aftermarket turbo add kits. It's really tight in the engine bay. You're going to really need someone who knows what they are doing. You have be very careful about the amount of torque though I don't think this trans can take crazy loads. You might see some of this aftermarket stuff gains of 100 to 120 horse and maybe 50 to 75 lbs of torque. Anything more than that and you better upgrade the trans. I'm about 5 hours to the north east of Houston,, but if you get a club together please let me know. I have another car I'm working on right now too, it's a 2013 Hyundai Sonata Limited Turbo,,,, I'm upgrading to with a TWIN kit, it should be pretty cool if I finish it before I get down there. I'll have someone drive it and follow me down. Do you have other people lined up in Houston yet ??? I have some friends in Dallas that would drive down. A KOREAN KAR SHOW !!! ;)

forgot to mention,,,, the exhaust is very non-environmentally friendly,,, the old small pipe through a big pipe trick. It all looks like it's there but doesn't sound like it, and I don't dare drive through Cally. I've seen the hose hook ups for emissions check. That would be a bad day. There is almost 0 back pressure.
I am in houston lol
What are you doing for the LEDs in the housing? I've been mildly looking into this too - but a little scared to crack open the housing.
cooooool ,,,, that makes 3 Cadenzas, I'm sure I can get a few folks here and from over in Dallas to drive down. Not quite a car shows yet, but if we could find a venue to hold it,,, you know what they say "IF YOU BUILD IT THEY WILL COME" ;)

T-Lamba - Let us know if you find a way to remove the 'I Agree' screen on start up. It is very annoying.:)
