Hello all!

I purchased my first Kia on Saturday (Feb. 21), and so far, I have been all smiles! I pulled onto the lot to buy an Optima-SXL and drove off in a Cadenza Premium instead.

I live in the Louisville, Kentucky area. So if you're anywhere within a hundred mile radius(give or take) and are an enthusiast or know of a club, please let me know.

I'll be sure to post pictures as I do stuff to my new baby, but I'll go ahead and detail some of what I want to do and if anyone has suggestions or know of ways to accomplish some of my goals, please feel free to PM me.

My color scheme is Platinum Graphite w/ Black Leather

Badges/Emblems -- I have already ordered the K5 Optima Store's Red Wine Black Edition Emblems and can't wait to get them in, and on the car. I also ordered a K7 and 3.3 GDI badge. Not sure I want to put them on, but I really don't like the way the "Cadenza" badge looks on the trunk. I'll use Photoshop to play with the two appearances later.

Window Tint -- If anyone has tinted their windows and don't mind sharing what they've spent, please let me know. This is high on my list and should be done in the next two weeks.

Passenger Ventilated Seats -- I know where to get the center switch, but not the seats. If you know, please let me know!

Window Visors -- Can't find in-channel anywhere. Anyone find any? Do Hyundai Azera visors fit?

Rear Window Spoiler/Visor -- Looking for a classy one of these as well!

Coilovers -- I'm playing with this idea. There isn't a stanced Cadenza in the Louisville area... That I know of. Anyone have pics of one stanced?

Thanks in advanced for the welcome, and help/ideas!

Sincerely,
Scynthyace

P.S. -- It's pronounced Sin-Thy-Ace. (In case you're wondering. ;))

welcome to the group!

I have the same car, same color... my windows were already tinted from the dealer when I bought but you shouldn't have to pay more than about 200 for the car.

Have fun and enjoy your stay
Welcome to the forum community and congrats on getting your new cadenza.

Thank you for your order with us on the site. We will have it shipped out today if it was not shipped yesterday for you. ;)

As for as the window visors, we can order a set for you from Korea, but unfortunately we have not come across the in channel design for the Cadenza yet.

Regarding the roof spoiler for the Cadenza, we sell those in both standard and LED versions and can be found on our site here: K5 Optima Store - Kia Cadenza Roof Spoiler

I got my item shipped notification just a few minutes ago on the badges I ordered.

I like the Spoiler, and will have to order one, and a set of lower springs next pay check! Can you send me an example picture of the window visors? I am not a huge fan of sticking the visors to the paint of the car. Are there absolutely no in-channel options anywhere?

Thanks!

Yep all orders have been filled as of today. :)

Ok sounds good, let us know before ordering so we can get you a package discount. I don't have any off hand, however send us an email and I will get some for you to see. I do not believe there are any made yet for the Cadenza.
Not sure what your area considers stanced. Our area cambers the wheels so that they have to rotate tires every week. Very dumb.

You can look at Jake's. He's got Bags. Or here's another from Google:

Yes, yes it does! I don't think I'll do that much camber, but I will definitely be picking up the rear window spoiler and lower springs. The roads around here are under construction for the next 2 years while they put in 2 new bridges. I have a ton of friends who play the "Form over Function" game with Hondas, and I constantly hear of cracked bumper lips and scraping this or that off their cars.

Speaking of front lips, are there any reasonable front/rear diffuser setups?

Maybe I should be asking all this in the other part of the forum...

Hmm..

Thanks,

Nothing yet. Jake wants one too.
So I learned more about my car this past weekend. Like for starters, it's not Platinum Graphite, it's Satin Metal.

I also learned it has the Luxury Package, but not the Technology Package...

And that if you drive fast in it, you'll get a ticket. ;)

But I do love my Cadenza. Hopefully the rain will pass this weekend, and I can wash her and post some pictures! :)
