I think that the pictures on the header are outdated and should be updated with the 2014 Cadenza...that has been bothering me from day one, as well as the lack of administrator/moderator presence on the forums.

^^^

I actually notified the admins a few months back about model year inconsistencies. They changed some of the numbers from 2013 to 2014 on the names of the forums/threads. I'm thinking that they admin for a large number of forums and this one is still not active enough to get a lot of their attention.

We know what the model should look like, and the model on the header probably has never seen the U.S.A. ...it is just, as you say, bothersome.

I understand this, but they should make someone a moderator/admin so the forums are consistantly being monitored.

Well, I had a quad-bypass about six years ago; then a stent about three years ago; three more stents about three months ago; and now an aortic valve replacement next week.

That's why I'm comfortable in waiting a few months to get a Cadenza and a Sorento.
You never know, I may not need them. So I'm hedging my bets on the side of caution.

You can bet that I will be a happy/blessed man when (if) I get to the point of getting them.

So after Sunday, you won't hear from me hopefully for a week or so. Then I will be back (again, hopefully) to my obnoxious ways...

After the surgery, I have at least four weeks before I can drive. I think I will be buying in November. So I have time to find some deals. If I'm really lucky something will pop on the Limited. If not, I plan on a Cadenza Tech and a Sorento SXL AWD, Both in their respective grey colors. I plan on modding the Cadenza, but I'm not sure yet as to how much. Will at Karbon has a bunch of goodies that I really need. lol

I have two things to look forward to, recovery and new wheels! Oh, and while I'm on medical leave I'm giving my retirement notice. Sweeeeeet! What's that old song? "take this job and...."

Where do you work? And what do you do?

Have fun retiring, and good luck! Ill be rooting for a quicker recovery so you can get a new Cadenza ASAP. I love my cadenza and the new sorento looks tempting as well, i was thinking about the 2012 model when i got my CX-9, but thought that the seats in the CX-9 are more comfortable. After driving the cadenza, where the leg extension really helps my back, Ill need to see if the sorento has it, but I doubt that ill get one as i got my Mazda only one and a half years ago.

I'm an auto collision repair consultant/trainer for State Farm. Almost 35 years. Before that I was 8 years Air Force and worked in the collision repair industry before, during, and after. (frame and suspension mpstly)

Thanks for the well-wishes! I really appreciate it. I'll be on and off the forum till Sunday afternoon and then it's off to San Francisco for the surgery. It'll all be good.
