They are beautiful! I miss mine already! :(
2 Things:

1. 1 of the cars has a Ford front license plate, lol.

2. You may want to block out your front license plate, personal identifiers/security and all that. Just a suggestion.

I've seen mixed points on blocking plate information, but really there's not a database out there that would allow you to look up a license plate and get someone's home address. That would be crazy dangerous... but I guess you could always memorize it and see them driving and wave to them... :p

Why? I've never understood the need for this. You drive down the street with your plate(s) in view!

You do yes, but then that's just you in a sea of other vehicles. Posting a picture of it gives someone a personal identifier to who you are. Provided you ever say anything in the future about how nice your new TV is or something someone can look at your car and get your info from plates on the vehicle you posted.

There ARE systems that let you look up people's info, as someone who works closely with LE I have seen these systems and used them. While you usually need some sort of authoritative access to get into them, you could always ask a friend who has access (provided you have one) to look it up for you. You could just say it's because of some innocent reason and if they trust you they could give it to you. I have looked up info on people before to help a garage owner find out a bad tenant so he could make sure they didn't park in there anymore (being very aggressive in the garage) and they didn't have plates saved, only names. In that instance I was able to help him, but looking up that person's info gave me more than what I needed, I also saw the persons' address as well as all info from their license.

Please keep in mind that what I said above is a SLIM chance, not saying it's an everyday occurrence but from most normal parts in your life you do as much as you can to safeguard your personal identity, why not here? To me it's like putting a picture of your license up. Why not? You show the cashier at the store and most people around you at work know most of that info, right? What's the harm in others seeing it?

You don't have to, it's only a suggestion. I'm security conscious, you don't have to be.

Yeah, I've taken pictures near my house and had to crop the street signs too. I would never leave my license out there and post a picture on the web. You just never know how that can be used against you, so there's no sense testing that water.
