Must have not noticed before but when my last servicing was done they used 5W20 oil. For this servicing I asked for 10W30 since I will be in warm climates all winter BUT the service adviser stated that unless I used 5W20 they wouldn't cover the oil cost and that the new engines were OK with a lighter oil.

Any comments?

If I remember correctly, there is a viscosity chart in the manual. Don't know if it lists 5W20 or not, but worth a look.

If it's not there, maybe consult with your dealer about using it and warranty coverage.
