I've noticed that whenever I turn my car off, I hear this noise coming from the back of my car. It's a very quick sound, but loud. It starts off high pitched, and sounds like something is winding down, or stopping. That's really the best way I can think of to explain it.

I called my Service Department this morning and it's not a problem they've heard of.

Anyone else notice this?

It's a 2014 Limited with 5,500 miles.

Just went out and checked mine, I hear a very slight click which sounds like a relay, from the rear of the car, but no high pitched sound. Had to listen for it or didn't really notice it.
I also hear a loader click, from up front under the dash, which I think is a relay just after the seat positions it's self to the rear for easy access.
How full is your gas tank? could it be pressure being released from tank? My tank is full so wouldn't notice something like that till it was lower on gas. System returns fumes back to tank rather than going out to the atmosphere might be something to do with that. Like I said don't hear it in mine

I believe I've heard the fuel pump engage/disengage and it sounds like what I perceive it to sound like (a gentle opening/closing kind of sliding). I usually hear that when I press the power button twice but don't hold the brake. Do your speakers work properly? Sub and whatnot?

I have heard a noise when I am getting out of the car, or just opening the door, but have not really investigated it yet. I was thinking parking brake though since it is back there, but have not thought about when it decides to use it or not, guess I need to look in the manual...

Update... Manual says

Also, the EPB is applied automatically if the auto hold button is on when the engine is turned off. However, if you press the EPB switch after the engine is turned off, the EPB will not be applied.
