Hey all. I’ve got a 2014 Cadenza and my low beam on the drivers side went out. So I replaced the $112.34 bulb and still nothing. Exchanges the bulb for another one and still nothing. Therefore, I’m assuming something is wrong with the wires somewhere. How can I troubleshoot? Does anyone have the diagram for this? Please help!! Drivers side HID low beam is not working, but everything else does.
I can post the wiring diagrams - but would check the HID ballast first. You
may be able to get to the ballast (it's mounted on the underside of the headlight assembly) through the wheel well, but would require removing the fender liner to do so. Otherwise, you'd have to remove the bumper and fender liner to remove the headlight assembly. Removing the ballast involves three screws, and then can be pulled from the headlight assembly.
Swap the known, working HID ballast from the passenger side with the suspected bad one. If it works in the bad location, then the ballast is your issue. If not, the issue lies elsewhere.
