Love the Cadenza but

Purchased used 2014 Cadenza with 40,000 miles on July 11 2016. Drove it twice before I purchased it; each time the salesman started it up and brought it from the lot to the sales area. Never noticed rattle or vibration since it was already running for many seconds. Never really noticed problem for a week or so after I purchased it; excited I guess with what appeared to be a great car. Love every aspect of the car other than start-up rattle and vibration which lasts about 15-20 seconds. It must have every possible option as the sticker in glove box says MSRP around $45,000. Reading forum info it appears that there is not a lasting fix for the problems I have. Any one have any insight into how many miles before engine destruction or it just an annoyance?

Welcome to the forum
Seems to be just an annoyance.
There's been several fixes for it but so far nothin lasting yet.
At the very least TSB148 should fix it for a while. I don't think that anyone who has gotten the fix has had it come back AS PRONOUNCED as it was originally.

I will contradict that statement. Mine was noisy 2000 miles after TSB148 and is going in for the second time. It's subjective but it seems just as noisy as it did before. Others may chime in.
Apparently your mileage may vary. That sucks Bike :(
Mine was noisy again after about 2500 miles, but I think it depends on how hard you drive the car. They serviced it a second time, and it was back up another 1300 miles before it was totaled, but the fix does not eliminate the noise completely.
It is nice forum, i am also new here. Welcome.
