Kia continues to step up its game, and the Cadenza is yet more evidence that it deserves to be seriously considered by savvy shoppers. The only engine available is a 293-hp 3.3-liter V-6, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with front-wheel drive. While the Cadenza may not be a rocket, it does accelerate to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds. Kia hasn't made performance a priority for the Cadenza, but it's still sufficient, and the upscale interior appointments make it a very comfortable car.

Definitely a good car so far.

Wish it had a V8 though, or maybe a Turbo V6

I'm glad it has the smaller motor, for me it's a balance between MPG and fun HP. I'd never use the power in the K900, or the V8 Genesis except to get moving violations...and they get far worse mileage then the K7...
