Autonet.ca just listed the cars they rate as being "New Vehicles that are Flying under the Radar." Number 1 on that list is the Kia Cadenza. Having enjoyed success in other markets, this vehicle should make an impact in the North American market.

Id have to agree that the Cadenza is flying under the radar, but who doesn't love an underdog?

The full list of vehicles making the list:

- Kia Cadenza
- Jeep Cherokee (not so sure about that one)
- Infiniti QX50
- Mitsubishi Mirage
- Acura RLX
- BMW 4-Series (or this one)
- Hyundai Equus
- Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class
- Mini Paceman
- Toyota Prius C

I'm not so sure how under the radar some of these are. Any changes you guys would make to the list?

I agree that some are questionably high-visability vehicles in terms of broad market appeal. The Paceman and the Prius and probably the Cherokee would be of interest to a fairly narrow market, so their "radar image" should be expected to be weak and small.

In any event, it's could to see the Cadenza given props for deserving more attention from the market and the industry.

Interesting info, Helios!

- Kia Cadenza
I have yet to see one in Virginia
- Jeep Cherokee (not so sure about that one)
This car is barely on the lot yet...
- Infiniti QX50
This car is not out as the QX50 yet it is still the EX37 and of course its under the radar its super stale!
- Mitsubishi Mirage
This car is not on the lot yet...
- Acura RLX
I actually have been seeing more and more of these.. Beautiful car and love the 4 wheel steering, led headlights, and lane keep assist
- BMW 4-Series (or this one)
These are not on the lot but can be ordered...
- Hyundai Equus
This is a low volume car to begin with
- Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class
I have not seen any on the lot but I imagine every wannabe hipster will be scooping them up since they are like 5-7k cheaper than the Cs on the lot
- Mini Paceman
This is a niche car and they really make too many of the same car. But I like it and agree it is under the radar since i have only seen one and it has been out a while
- Toyota Prius C
This is wrong for the list i see one on every corner. Hate them. But see them everywhere in Virginia

So basically the only two I agree with are the paceman and cadenza. Most of these cars are not out on the lots, at least all dealer lots, and some of these are really stale models or low volume ones. I think whoever made this list doesn't really know their *** from their elbow when it comes to cars. Just saying

Man, humercedes! You really did your homework, but I suspect you are just a very astute guy.

Good going! Nice list of info...

I think the Cadenza deserves its spot on this list. Some of the other cars I'm not so sure about. The CLA has been getting a lot of attention as it approaches its release. And I don't think anyone would say the BMW 4-Series is under the radar. I don't know what metric they used to build this list. It might just be opinion.
This list is an opinion.

Most fo the cars on the list aren't out yet, of course you didnt see them!

- Kia Cadenza
i agree with
- Jeep Cherokee (not so sure about that one)
not out
- Infiniti QX50

- Mitsubishi Mirage

- Acura RLX

- BMW 4-Series (or this one)
lots of hype/not out
- Hyundai Equus
i dont see that many s class or 7 series or a8's either...its a low volume car that only appeals to a few
- Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class
lots of hype

We're certainly under the radar along the I-35 Corridor in Texas. Between San Antonio and Austin. I've only seen one other Cadenza, happened to be Bronze like mine, otherwise...nada.
I've had it for a month now and I haven't seen a single Cadenza on the road.
same here, never saw one except at dealers.
seeing them often here

Quess it depends on where you live. I'm in Glendale,AZ and every since I first read this post, have been watching for the cadenza. I'm seeing 1 or 2 everytime I go out in this area. About what it was when the Optima first came out. Of course KIA sells a lot of cars in this area.
Hope to see more after several months
