Is it possible to get just the blank key replacement for the Cadenza? I don't need the full remote, just a blank to put into the remote when it goes in for service, so they have a hook for it. I've seen keys dropped, had mine dropped all the time because they don't have a ring. Did this with the Nissan a few years ago, got a blank on Amazon for like $6, fit right in.

No benefit, other then keeping online purchases to the smallest opportunities to be fraud. I like helping out small online business, but I am also very fearful of fraud. A perfect example, I had an online order a few months ago that they sent the wrong product. I tried several times over 3 weeks to get in touch with them to make the change or accept a return. So I resorted to CC dispute...here we are about 2 months later and my account had to be shut down because of fraudulent charges just last night; I'm not happy. No chance in proving who did it, I just hope the CC company clears this up quickly. At least with Ebay I'm paying Ebay, same with Amazon...but other situations I feel I'm at risk every day after I give out the details...card#, expiration, the extra code on back, and of course my shipping address and phone number.

I appreciate the details. And as much as I respect everything you said, we don't know that the ecommerce sites aren't easily hacked, or has that info available for their staff to upload somewhere. They are all open to vulnerability whether internally or through external hack. I embrace the convenience, but I abhor the risks with these credit cards. Problem is as a user, there are only a few things you can do to protect yourself, everything else is just hoping things turn out ok. **** even the guy at the CC company that can pull up all of my data is suspect in reality.

One thing I loved about Discover card is their random number generator per merchant. You would login to your Discover account and click the number generator and that number could only be used at the web merchant you first used it at, it would fail for any other website. They cancelled that program some time ago for some reason, but I used it a lot. I have saved numbers for eBay, Amazon, TigerDirect, etc.

That would be a great feature, problem being they probably ran out of number combos...
