Just added the LED fog light bulbs, from Karbon Koncepts, to my Cadenza. What a difference, There super white and look as good as the new LED fog lights on the new Limited. Easy to install and 1/8 the cost of replacing the whole fog light.
Thanks Will

Gene; I want to do this, also. Are Will's leds plug and play, or is there rewiring involved? looking at the owner's manual to replace fog bulbs seems pretty easy based on the illustration; how difficult to change them out and any reason to think it impacts warranty?
thanks,
real easy and plug and play

Will not effect warranty and there is nothing to do but put them in socket and plug in. Everything works just as they are.
I used my floor jack and raised the front of the car 2-3 inches, don't have to but easy to see, and get head under car.
There are two of those push pin type screws on flap, under corners, Just unscrew enough to pull the whole pin out. I even used them over when reinstalling, or you can use new ones un plug the socket, push tab on each side and wiggle. Turn bulb counter clock wise, put new LED bulb in turn clock wise put plug on, replace flap and two push pins. make sure screws are almost all the way out to put pins back in, just push the screw in after in place no need to screw back in.
It is done that easy and everything works
Let me know how you think they look. look great to me and Will ships fast, no extra shipping charge or handling. the price you see is everything.

terrific and helpful info Gene, thanks much. I'll be contacting Will to order! I also want the whiter light like the headlight; the fog bulbs have a yellow cast that doesn't seem modern to me.
Dave
whiter than head lights

Wills new LED's are whiter than the head lights, look great

That looks great Gene! Super bright. I can't wait to see your car in person. Let's keep in touch as I plan on buying a Cadenza after the new year. :)

How much are the LED fogs from Karbon Koncepts?
price of LED's

The LED's are $49.95 for a pair, that includes shipping and tax.

Aren't fog lights supposed to be yellow in order to help visibility in fog?
not any more

Due to the new designs and color temp. of the light, newer (white light) fog lights are much brighter with a more directional light beam in fog than the older yellow.
When I was young a white light bulb gave off light in a large circular pattern thus making fog and snow light up higher in the air this caused the fog to reflect so much light it was hard to see thru it. Yellow light didn't reflect off the white fog or snow as much so was used as fog lights.
Now days with the directional shape of the bulb housings and the directional pattern of the light we can keep the light down near the ground , we can use brighter lights and see better than the older yellow lights. The color temp. of the light makes a difference also.

Thanks for the explanation! That explains a lot.

Make sure when you buy one, it was produced after Sept 2013. That way you can get the air in the passenger seat. Kia says that's when they will add the air to both front seats.
produced after is the key words not sold after.

Gene,

Thanks for the sincere referral. We were happy to pick these up and have them available. I have since installed them on my Cadenza as well.

Dave, I apologize for the tardiness in getting your particular order out. I was out of the country until Saturday with my entire family. You should have them on Thursday I believe!
Thank you Will; Gene gets the referral credit as he was kind enough to post photos of his Cadenza with your fog lamps installed ( Thanks again Gene!) and the difference was so much better with your lamps! Can't wait to install mine; have a safe, good holiday!
new fogs installed; awesome!

Just received and installed my led fogs from Will @ Karbon Koncepts and am delighted with the improvement; my dealer was also super impressed. Thanks Will, and thanks to Gene for leading the way! :)

Happy Thanksgiving to all...
