Beez - not true - TSB 62 came out in February and provides an update. Look on KGIS and you can look it up. My dealer told me the same thing, but I haven't pressed the issue yet as I don't have the issues that this update fixes.i've been told by my guys that no software upadate has come out yet.

I think some people had problems with voice recognition and phone dialing after the update, but the fix was to re-load your contacts into the system.
Ben, let me also. I asked about two months ago and the guys in service said the same thing "no update"cool... i shall get with them today
I just bought my Cadenza and my GPS can't even find my address. New construction home from about 1.5 years ago. Every other GPS can find my address though. My card is up-to-date. I filed a complaint today. Let's see what they say.
Good to know. I purchased my Cadenza 3/2014 and have the same s/w version mpalomba3 showed in his picture. My dealer also told me there was no update available, but I didn't press the issue as I don't have the problems this update fixes. TSB 62 Installed today
I was having an issue (apparently everyone was prior to TSB 62) where my iPhone would not handoff any calls originating before the car was started. Dealership told me nothing could be done. I called the Customer Support line I found on Kia.com and reported it. The woman was very polite, took my info and gave me her direct number and extension. She called me back 2-3 days later and told me it is an issue and there is no fix currently. I went to FB and posted the issue on the Kia pages (Kia Motors International, Kia America, Kia Optima (because they have more users)). I got a response from Kia America on FB within an hour. 3 hours later I got a phone call from Kia saying there was a fix, it was TSB 62. Went this morning and had the dealership update my system and now calls handoff! I also now have a full screen menu when I press the Voice Command button that I did not have before. I'm not sure if it is a new feature of the update or if I just never noticed before, but when I put the car in reverse, the side mirrors tilt down for better visibility while backing up.

The side mirrors tilt down when in reverse and the side view mirror switch is in the left or right position.
Voice Recognition after TSB 62
I have also noticed that after the install of TSB 62, that my voice dialing has been affected. Before TSB 62, the command "Call mom" resulted in a response of "Call mom, is this correct?". It now responds with multiple entries found and displays 4 different entries, 3 of which are not mom! The command, "Call dad" now responds with 6 entries! You say, that is not so bad, but oh yes it is. You have to wait for it to read you all 6 entries before you can make a selection to initiate the call. I don't understand how you can update a firmware and degrade parts that worked very well previously. Apparently, quality control is not very good.
BTW, Thanks foldman, you are absolutely correct. If I put the mirrors in the off position they don't tilt down when backing up, it's only when I leave it in the Left or Right that it does this.

Others have reported you can correct this by deleting all your contacts and then copy back your address book from the phone. Using 2 names for every phone book entry helps as well.
