According to BankRate.com, auto insurance overall is up 15% this year. Nationally, the average annual cost of premiums is $2,014 in 2023. I'm sure vulnerabilities of theft for certain Kia models for those owners, have seen increases.

Has anybody here experinced an increase in insurance rates due to the vulnerability of theft for certain Kias?

I have USAA. I had a 2017 Hyundai Sonata and went to a 2020 Kia Cadenza and saved $5 on monthly payment, lol. I'm assuming the increase in safety features helped, and cadenzas aren't really the ones that are on the big Kia hit list since only a small percentage of people know what they are, lol.
