Impala vs Cadenza...Cadenza Won

Took me awhile to decide, but when I did, I went "all in." The two cars were very close together in value and options, but KIA had THE BEST financing available.

Snow White Pearl...ALL AVAILABLE PACKAGES AND OPTIONS...including The White Leather Interior. Decided not to add the mud flaps. Car was too pretty and they didn't look that good. But I bought every option available.

36 month lease...$339.46 ($3,000 down)

Bought my car from a NC dealer, because taxes were lower there...and they were friendlier than the PA dealers.

Love my car!

Hi Kevin -- I also compared the Cadenza to the Impala, and Cadenza won because I thought its steering was a bit tighter, and also because it has existed in markets outside of the US for several years. First year models like the Impala scare me!

But the Impala did go a long way in turning around my perception of GM cars that was formed in college, when I drove a ratty Nova for a job, and prayed it wouldn't stall out at the intersections. I'll be interested in hearing owners' impressions of the Impala after they live with it for a year or so.
I spent almost 30 years in auto finance...began at GMAC as a college kid, 11 years with Ford, 5 years with Nissan, 8 years at Mitsubishi, and 3 years in sub-prime with a division of The Associates. I drove dozens of cars in my career, including a Lincoln Town Car. The Cadenza is the classiest and most impressive car I have ever owned.

I was impressed by the Impala, but...KIA made the better deal...and I am all about The Deal!

Nice, does 3k include taxes title, etc?

Also, I thought the taxes were calculated for the state you lived in?
Carz,

I OWN a home in NC and I rent an apartment in PA. I teach here, but I am in NC 7-10 days month.

I put $3,000 down, to lower my lease payment. It was not a requirement of the deal. I also got a total of $3,900 in discounts from KIA and my dealer.
