Great video, thanks for posting and sharing! Wow, would have never guessed what a pain changing the spark plugs would be.

How many miles on your car? Did you get any close up shots of the valves? Really curious to see what the carbon build up looks like.
My vehicle currently has 140,000 miles. I don't believe I have close ups of the valves but I'll check. The valves looked pretty gum up with carbon. Due to the design of the engine.
Great video, looking forward to part 2. There are so many connectors to get that top intake off...****!
I"m pretty sure you would have touched the PCV valve in the process of all of that. I was looking for it a few weeks ago, considered replacing it, but couldn't find it. Is there a point in the video where you're right on it so I could zero in on it?

Just curious as what to expect with these engines. You've got a lot of miles, would be great to see.

I was looking for it too, but couldn't discern it. I think it's lower than what he showed, below the oil filter along the side of the engine.
Ok if you go to my video at 15:22 the rubber hose I removed with a flat head screw driver. That Hose leads to the pcv valve.

****, so not at the top where you disconnected, but following it all the way underneath...no wonder I never found it! Thanks I'll be looking that over again, see what kind of angle i can get down there to it, or not!
Awesome! Perfect timing too, I just bought new plugs and a PCV. I only have 53,000 on mine, but I'll be damned if I'm going to pay the dealership $500+ to change plugs. Thanks for the video!
No problem glad to help!
Thank you for posting. I did mine. I found that I did not need to mess with the coolant hose stuff at all. I think I did everything with a 10mm socket (except the plugs). I used instructions from an Optima. Basically, it was the same as what you did with this exception, and it was a lot less messy. Hope that helps if you are ready to do it again.
