Howdy,
It's like they left items out for the aftermarket to sell.

Your right, the 2 highlight items would be the LED daytime running lights and the front park sensors.

My cadenza has auto defog and the ionizer for the air. the ionizer is up stream of the filter, not a part of it. maybe these are a part of one of the packages.
KIA did the same thing with the K900, They left off the air ride and the rear seat LCD display on the back of the front seats. Check out the Hyundai version
you can see stuff left off the KIA K900

Gene, you have a US spec cadenza? I have an SXL with everything, so if it's available I should have the options then? How do you know you have the ionizer? I see on the global version it says "clean air" above the climate control system on the passenger side, where mine does not. As for auto defog, is there a setting that needs to be enabled?

If you look in the manual on page 4-125 and 126. It will show you how to turn the auto defogging on if it got turned off. Not all cadenza's have auto defogging, mine has it and I think the SXL should have it to

On the web site for kia www.kiatechinfo.com. If you look under cadenza , 2014 then components. click back on 2014 again on the left then under cluster ionizer, click again
on components. hope you can follow that.
I saw this and ask the service department to check if I had it. They told me I did.
That is a great site by the way.

Again if you go to kiatechinfo.com
select cadenza 2014
click on components
click on G 3.3 GDI on left
click blower unit
go down to components and component locations
on the right scroll down a page and the cluster ionizer is number 7

Gene,

You are awesome, that was much easier to follow. Thanks for all your assistance. I spoke with Kia preferred service, they weren't much help with finding if we have these parts. They were actually saying that we, or I, most likely did not have them, as the manuals cover cadenzas from around the world. Canada gets DRL FYI. Asked about the maps update as well, and was told that MapNSoft was manufacturing the SD cards, should be released "very soon," and that the Canadian maps would not work.

I bet it's expensive. I looked up the price of the US spec headlamp assembly (w/o DRL), and it's about $600 for each assembly ($1200 for the set). No option to get just the parts either, besides bulbs, ballasts, and dustcaps.

Would require some looking into the wiring as well, as the "DRL" wire in the headlamp harness is missing or wasn't providing power, can't remember which right now.

I emailed a dealer and they said they wanted $3,000 and said it should work with the US version. But I am defiantly not spending that much. I guess I will have to go with some after market.

Most manufacturers love to do this. They omit things from certain market places and push them into others. This is really fascinating consider that here in the US, we typically have the most options available to us from entry level to fully loaded. Most other nations only have one option with a few packages available.
