Hey all my name is Bobby. I bought a 2014 that has 84k with the luxury and tech package. I am awaiting delivery of the car. With that said what are some things I should check over before I accept the vehicle? The carfax isn’t very specific about what services were conducted so what are things I should consider replacing my first weekend or two of having it? I’ve seen something about fuel filters in these at 30k. I’ve also seen something about oil consumption issues. Any tips and advice so I can keep this beautiful car healthy is very much appreciated. I look forward to being a positive contributor to your community and learning as much as possible.

Looks beautiful! I have owned my cadenza for more than two years and have never seen experienced any oil consumption issues. I would definitely have it inspected by a mechanic, since it is an eight year old car with a GDI motor. That being said, I have only had very minor but annoying issues, like the steering wheel coupler going out, (making a very annoying click every time you turn the wheel. You can do it yourself if it goes out, the part is very cheap, but from what I have see you do have to fiddle a bit with the airbag housing a smidge (I took it to my mechanic to get it fixed). And the housing for the automatic wipers is dangling, and nothing can really fix it cause the glue they use is a dud. But if you ever get the windshield recall fixed, I would do it sooner than later, because they’re all on back order, I’m still waiting for mine two months later with nothing. But welcome to the forum and I hope to see what you do with it!
