So I've tried to contact Kia on FB and talked to them on the phone with no responce regarding that, it says on the Worldwide site that for the 19" wheels setup, you have to get 20 in the back, well that is what recommended, called and checked with dealers around the world and friends from different part of the world and they all told me that the OEM comes in both 19" wheels.

I'm trying to get an aftermarket wheels so I'm not sure if it is recommended to go this size for aerodynamics (not sure why OEM does not follow) or probably just a typo? twice?

that's the website, under Chassis look for wheels and tires and be amazed

My cadenza has 19" wheels front and back. The Korean model has options we don't.
Only problem with 20" wheels, the tire ratio is different so the overall dia. remains the same as the 19". There is very little side wall height so car would ride pretty hard and wouldn't take much of a pot hole to damage the rim

When the cadenza was first being advertised kia posted the ads on the worldwide web site. You could select what country your in and it would show you what was being offered. This was when the first cadenza's hit the market here in the usa. my dealer refered me to it as they didn't even have booklets and info on it yet.

You can see they offered 20" rear wheels, but not on the usa model
there was a different rear console than what most of you got,I have the one in the pic at that web site.
Showed LED fog lights, not sent here
had front parking assist shown, not here
Showed passenger seat cooling, not sent here
This was there first advertising for the cadenza before any booklets got to the dealer
these are the things I noticed missing when I purchased my Cadenza, one of the first to hit our shores.
When you go to this site you can pick what country you want to see

The fine print on that site states that features are for "Korean model options." I am fairly certain that the USA models have the same size wheels front and back.
Kuwaiti Model Options comes with 19" for all wheels, but their website KIA Motors Coporation shows something else.

What I really don't understand if the dealership has 19" wheels for the set and online it says put an inch more for the rear, it doesn't add up really.

Is it safer? is it because it's FWD? because as little as I know about cars, It usually in the car ECU shows what the diameter, wheels size etc... that it can go on, for fuel consumption, gears shifting and what not.. so I'm not sure, I'd love to get a set of all 19" and just go with what the OEM cars are, but what If I'm getting aftermarket cars? what if my car doesn't come equipped with a 19"?

Kia keeps the over all dia the same on the 18" and 19" tires by changing the tire ratio
245/45R18 tire is 26.7" dia
245/40R19 tire is 26.7" dia
255/35R20 tire is 26.8" dia
Check www.tirerack.com or stop in to a tire store they can tell you what size tire will give you the same over all dia.
Some people just think wider tires on the rear make it look hotter, they just copy the German rear wheel drive looks

but on the website it written 245/40R19 front and and 245/40R20 rear, I guess that won't really be much help but make the car look like its leaning forward.

I think i'll just go with 8.0J X 19 with 245/40R19, any recommendation on tires?

Copying german cars for FWD is a joke, what would you just put more wight in the back if it is just going to spin :D

In Korea and China it is a lot about looks and they like to copy the German cars.
If you are only interested in the ride quality, go for the 18" . My cadenza came with the 19" wheels and the Hankook tires. When they wear out I will try the Michelin Primacy MXM4 94v tires. Had them on my passet and they were good. I'm in Glendale, az so don't have to worry about diving in the snow
