First time Kia buyer in Portland, OR
I just purchased my first Kia last weekend and absolutely love it so far. I have the Cadenza Limited, white on white and find the interior quite beautiful. I was a bit hesitant to visit the dealer based on some of the professional reviews I read regarding the ride quality being so bad. Even with the 19" wheels, I find the ride firm, but well mannered and comfortable. Not sure what the complaints were about. I found an amazing price which was too hard to resist when all the incentives, dealer discounts and low financing were bundled together. Evidently, these are sitting on the dealer lots for several months and they are ready and willing to move them.
The first things which need to be changed are the drab interior, trunk and license plate bulbs. This car certainly needs the classy led lighting to compliment the rest of the car. It just seems incomplete without it.
The smart cruise control is quite impressive and very natural feeling. My prior Acura RL had this feature, but it was never able to bring the car to a complete stop.
Many of the functions are quite logical and just make sense in how they are applied to aid the driver. There's so much about my Cadenza that makes me just think "wow, they even thought of that".
I do wish the driver seat would drop down about 1-2 more inches and that I could adjust how far back it goes in the exit mode. It goes so far back I can't reach the brake pedal and the start button to start the car. Does anyone know the difference between the seat exit settings "Normal" and "Advanced"? I couldn't tell the difference and the manual doesn't even mention the Advanced setting.
Now if this rain would stop, I'd be able to enjoy this beautiful moon roof!

Have never posted photos, but as soon as I have some, I'll figure it out and post them.
It's amazing how when I'm showing co-workers and friends my Cadenza they get in and immediately start touching everything - the headliner, the leather, the doors, the dash, the center console trim, the exterior paint.
I drove home in creeping freeway traffic and the smart cruise control is just amazing - probably my favorite feature.
I think Kia is really bringing their game to the market and the Cadenza is evidence of this. I just hope the dealers don't screw it up. I took a leap of faith walking away from my previous Acura dealer where I had a really good relationship with the sales and service departments. Kia just had the design and technology I wanted. My Kia dealer promised luxury level treatment for Cadenza owners, I'll see if they hold up to it or used it as a hook to pull me in and seal the deal.
