Like I mentioned to you in your other thread, reading all the other threads about this problem may reveal a path for you to try and in this case, post #17 a guy had his dealership replace both high and low speed relays and since he hasn't posted back I assume that fix worked for him. Now, any somewhat mechanical person can replace relays on their own. They are just plug and play and they are cheap...if you chose to try this. If this works for you, please come back and post to help others in the future...just as your searching for help. The fan started running in my car and want shut off. I replaced the battery in January. I’m afraid my battery will go dead it’s been running for 30min now. Any suggestions.
No problems since I changed the relay. Bought a couple more off Amazon and threw them in the glove box.Any update? Did the new relay solve your problem?
My girlfriends has done this 3 times now. Last time it ran for 20 minutes. She just called me cause it wont shut off again so she’s coming over to get my spare truck to drive. I work on older cars but these new ones are awful. It’s usually always a sensor that goes badI'd get that checked out. That actually is likely a common problem, some relay or perhaps the fans themselves. But I wouldn't take a chance that it does it again. When I said before it is not uncommon for fans to run , I meant for just a few minutes after, not like this for sure!
