Anyone ever do an engine oil analysis? I just did one with Blackstone to see how it was looking:

I'm currently doing 6 month oil change interval (OCI) as I tend not to go over 3000 miles in 6 months and still want to stay in warranty of course. Currently using Pennzoil Ultra Platinum and Kia OEM Oil Filters. I was running 10W30 for the summer here in Florida, but just put in 5W30 for the Florida "winter."
Iron is a little concerning, but on this sample, I forgot to warm up the oil per the instructions, so maybe the iron particles settled to the bottom and I caught a little more when I grabbed the sample. Will be doing another test at my next oil change.
Curiously, since I'm well out of warranty on my Jeep, I'm currently doing 1 year OCI in it - as I didn't even break 3000 miles in a year. May try to push to 4K OCI (instead of time) to see how it fares as Blackstone suggested.
