Hello there,

today I was re-placing my front wind shield due to factory recall. I found some weird wired chilling around and I cannot find any information regarding to it here are some fotos

I can find the shop manual refer to it as a front winshield de-icer connector - but it doesn't really show where is connects - assume its at the bottom of the windshield somewhere. If it's not factory glass, it may not be there.

I think that makes se ve because recently I have front windshield reseated ! And yup it’s still factory windshield

Yeah I figured the same but since I’m Dominican Republic I don’t need it lol, just isolated them and that’s it for now

I'm not sure if all have it, but my 2015 had a heating element in the lower part of the windshield, to help avoid the wipers from freezing to the glass.
