So I have a A G1w dashcam installed in my car and the power cord is really beginning tom bug me just hanging down from the rear view to the 12v powersoruce. My question is have anyone hardwire their dashcam into their vehicle? And if so how did you do it? I was thinking on trying to rout the cord along the headliner down the a-pillar.

I've got mine hardwired, running behind the headliner to behind the trim on the A Pillar to a stepdown 12v-5v converter, then used an add-a-fuse at the fuse box, using the accessory fuse location. Everything is hidden, so no wires showing, and all 12V power outlets open for other stuff.
