My only complaint about the Cadenza would be gas mileage. Wouldn't it be nice to have the option of the 2.0 Turbo mated to the new 8 speed tranny Kia has.
I traded in my 2012 optima sx with 2.0 turbo and it got great gas mileage, bet the same mileage could be had in the cadenza with the turbo mated to the new 8 speed

I understand your sentiments entirely. I think that the 2.0T would be underwhelming in the Cadenza. While they both produce similar output in terms of HP and TQ, the 2.0 would constantly have to work harder to power the larger Cadenza and would probably not yield as great of fuel mileage as one might anticipate.

I personally wish there were a larger motor option for the Optima... Maybe a big v-8 for the performance guys!?

I can see them doing that in the future, just as Audi did with the S-4, BMW with the M3, Mercedes with the C63, etc.

The 3.3L turbocharged engine from the concept KIA GT would be nice. That has 395 hp and 393.5 lb-ft torque and mated to an 8 speed A/T
^^^ This I want this. I would love a little extra HP and torque, altho the Cadenza is already pretty quick!!!
