Okay, so yes I'm back with another issue I'm having with my Car (I swear I think it's cursed).

Is anyone experience the paint chipping off really easy on the car? Especially on the front of the vehicle from normal driving?

I have so many nicks of paint chipping off my car its ridiculous. Having the car only for about 4 months, the paint is chipping off like MAACO painted it or something. I had to get touch up paint from the dealer and I lost count how many I had to apply. All the chips are very small and it should not be chipping like that. I had a 2005 Cadillac CTS since 2006, that car had no where as near chips of paint coming off as my cadenza has in the past 4 months. UGH!!!! I'm really getting tired of this car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you are having nothing but issues with that car buddy. i have 15k on the clock and no paint issues... infact the ONLY issue was the volume up button on the steering wheel broke... getting fixed today in fact

I know! On top of that, getting my car back from the dealership which they only fixed my tire, (have to go back to get a new drive side mirror and new module for the backup detection system), the car came back rieking of cigarette smoke. Told the dealer, came back like 15 mins later, got in the car, smelled like air fresher, next got in the car smelled like stale butt! (Remind me of the B.O. episode from Seinfeld) UGH!!!!! Called Kia Consumer Affairs about this and the paint chipping on my car. Keep fingers crossed!!!!!!! Time to get a drink because we all know I need one! Thanks for listening.

paint is covered under 3/36 if deemed faulty by the manufacturer... im sure you'll be ok...

oh and i'd be PISSED if my car smelt like smoke... LIVID!!!

Haven't had any trouble with the paint chipping on my cadenza. I think some colors show it more than others.
On my 2012 optima I had the 3m scotchguard invisible bra installed. good option if you are in an area where paint chipping is a problem .Didn't even know it was on the car unless you really looked for it and it works.
Sort of expensive, but if you are handy can do it yourself. Look at www.invisiblemask.com. they sell a good product to and show you how to do it. I'd like to do it but just not going to try myself. Saw it done on the Optima and not as easy as it looks.
If you check 3M sctchguard on line they will help you find a local installer.
Get it repaired under warranty first as beeswax said

, what city do u live in? It has been a rough winter on cars here in the Chicagoland area. All of my cars suffered a bit fro salt and asphalt rocks coming loose. As a matter of fact, I find many new cars on the lots appalling for new cars. Interiors are dirty from test drives...all the snow and slush sliding off the protective plastic under the seats and such. I'm in the market, but would kinda like to see some new inventory show up. Lot of cars I see on lots were built from June-Nov 2013.

Worst part is, if it was a 2009-2012 we could buy the parts to put air in the passengers seat.
Kia will not sell us a new seat with it in and the new switch and wiring that goes with it.
I wanted to pay for it and install it my self, no way

Just curious. What if my car (heaven forbid) was in a right-frontal accident and the seat got damaged. The body shop would order a replacement, no? Have you asked a body shop to order it for you?

I assume that cooling is only on the luxury package? Also...do you know the extent of seat, mirror and steering wheel memory on the base model.

(I'm a little disappointed at my local dealers lack of Cadenza inventory...hard to pick favorite colors and options without seeing them, esp on the road)

I am having the same issue with my 2016 Cadenza, I have more chips on the hood than I have ever had on any car I have owned. I have had the car less than 2 years and wash it regularly. Anyone else?

My '14 is still going strong, still under 50k miles. The chips I have look normal to me, nothing accelerated or excessive. What color is your car; Maybe there's a theme in there?
