Koreanautoimports sells a kit to add AC to the 2010-2013 cadenza, kit includes blower hose with couplings attached, blower motor all wiring, mounting bracket, and a new switch plate for consol. This kit is for both front seats.
I've been in contact and hope to have them assemble a kit to add AC to just the passenger seat in the new 2014 kia cadenza.
If I find out anything for sure will update the info. I'm sure there are others who want to add this to their cadenza.

Dave H in the Charlotte, NC area with my first post; yes, I would LOVE to find a kit like you describe! Major kudos to you for pursuing this, my dealer is excellent, but, have not been able to get an answer on this issue. I bought my K7 with technology on October 4, 2014 and two weeks later, the SXLs arrived WITH the cooled pass. seat!! So far my dealer says so many parts have to be changed including the seat track, that parts alone are about 5,000.00; yes, 5K is what they've said, so who knows what the story is!
If there is a way to add it along with the proper K7 seat switch, it would be incredible!

Thanks Gene, I am eager to hear what they come up with. I had hopes to somehow add a/c to my existing seat also, and, can't imagine why it couldn't be done. My dealer's service manager told me just today he's been researching the issue and was told by Kia that the original Cadenza 2014 excluded the a/c pass. seat because it couldn't be approved by the US transportation department due to air bag concerns; so Kia left it off in order to meet an internal US launch date for the model. So, he is still going to check with someone else at Kia Corporate to get more info; I will post what he comes back with. Maybe Kia had to change the pass. seat design somehow to satisfy whatever the US transport dept. was concerned about, and, they then could add it to the limited SXL. I will have to check and see if the dealer can point out any actual differences in my pass. seat and the SXL seat design.
Anyway, I hope somehow to do this; it's not the most critical thing I agree, but, it irritates the fire out of me as everything about the car is so terrific!
