2014 Cadenza Premium UVO error.

Problem had happened before (in last month) but a button reset (on the CD player) seemed to work. Message is constant now. I've also disconnected the battery for 5 minutes, same issue.

Radio works, GPS shows sats and clock gets GPS time.

Any suggestions?! Especially since the electronics warranty is only 3 years not 5!!

Heading from Toronto, ON to Florida next week, sure would like my nav system working!!

Doesn't sound good. I think you're only option is to take it to the dealer to diagnose. If it's a software issue, flashing a new version of the software may fix it. If it's a hardware issue, probably a replacement is in order.

Appears to have been a software error.

I bought the latest update (11.5) online from MapnSoft the day it was released. It appears that the version I download was NOT the final version (116SG3 downloaded vs. 118S01??). I contacted MapnSoft and had an excellent interaction. They set up an new download which when installed has cleared the problem.

Unfortunately for one of my days driving from Toronto to Largo, FL I had to use my Garmin .....

Glad that cleared it up for you, kind of scary that it can mess up the nav though if you don't have a "finished" version. In an ideal situation (to me, if you had to pay) you'd pay for the major update and receive any small updates and fixes to that which come along until the next large update. Glad they took care of you though since it was an issue and they recognized that. I wonder if they have any black Friday sales... Didn't someone say the next map update is coming soon?
