In Canada the KIA website does not show 2017 Cadenza's or K900's .when you go to build my car it only allows you to build a 2016 and what's interesting is that there are not too many 16's around. I don't understand that at all. Does anyone have any ideas why they are not posted and are the posted and priced on the US site?

we still have only had 1 at my store... Base with Roof... $36500 sticker
I was just on the KIA website and I might just look for the Tech package. The only differences between tech and limited are:
Chrome Outside Mirror Housing (pft)
Smart Power Trunk (could be cool)
19" Alloy wheels, dark satin finish (tech has 19" wheels, though)
Surround View Monitor (would be cool)
HUD (would be cool)
Power operated read window sunshade (would be cool)
Rear door sunshades (could be cool)
Quilted NAPA leather (pft)
Heated rear seats (pft)
Exclusive Limited Floor & Trunk Mats (pft)

Not enough Would be cools for me. Base price for Tech package is $38,990 and Limited is $44,390. $5,400 for the above stuff? Nah. I'll see if I can find in the Tech, white over black, and take a spin.
See less See more
I was thinking about trading in our 2014 Cadenza for a new 2017.
Now I think we will wait till the Stinger is out, and see what the pricing
will be for what we want.
Will keep the K900 for a while yet, the wife likes it.
The Stinger is to be made in the K900 factory on the same line as the K900
should have good build quality.

The Kia webs site just posted the 2017 Cadenza's They no longer show the tech package car they call it the Premium. The base car is simply the Cadenza( 36,295), the next level is the Premium(41,495) and the top level is the premium(45795). The premium has obver and above the limited: 360 cameras, HUD, Auto Stop. Premium leather and 19" tires Price is $200 more than 2016 $45,795
The '14-'16 were better appointed at a lower price. You can now get one (base) cheaper overall maybe but to get the features we have in our cars over the '17s you'll either have to pay more for or just not have. In my premium with tech only I have my sunroof, leg extension, heated rear seats, and rear window sunshade. I can't even get a tech with all of that and my car is cheaper than a tech. I'm glad I got mine when I did, I don't like the looks, pricing, or options of the '17.
That is EXACTLY why I never Valet park my car! ;)
That was actually a pretty good and well done commercial. Why didn't they do something like this starting about 4 years ago? How much more successful could this car have been with actual advertising?
First Look at 2017 - Dallas Auto Show

Got a chance to visit the auto show yesterday and definitely made it a point to visit the new Cadenza Limited. Overall very impressed with the looks outside - still haven't decided on the new grille look. Two thing that did bother me were the "quilted" leather seats - I've never like that look. But the big problem for me was the lack of the electro-luminescent display. It looks like the premium base display. I was expecting a much improved, larger, and more driver selective display options. It looks like its going backward in tech for the driver's display. :|
I believe it needs to be running and put into sport mode to see the other display
Thanks for the updates on this. I've been following since you posted the thread. Time to get into the website and start scoping out how this car checks out against the other ones that I've been eyeing. Hopefully it'll help me to make a decision now that it's finally available to scrutinise!
Saw this Ad the other day on one of the educational channels, either History or Discovery, was a during a 2 hour show depicting the anatomy of the Mob...yeah baby.

Yea man, im starting to see more and more Cadenza commercials.
We have one 2017 Cadenza on the lot and I predict it will stay there for a loooooong time! This car have no commercial/ad support, same for the K900, one in the showroom (2016) @ $81,000CND right now.
They were never meant to be high volume cars but even then, you'd think they'd want to advertise for them a bit more. I only got mine when I saw it on the showroom floor and asked about it. Even then the dealer was hesitant to show it to me and said it was an "old man" car and I would be better in a Veloster Turbo. I went to another dealership and bought my Cadenza :)
