I don't believe a tool is necessary to remove them. If they are anything like the 14-15 model of Optima, then I know what you mean about that darn stubborn clip not wanting to come off to remove the bulb. Just takes some patience to get it off, but definitely should be able to be done by hand.

I think the Premium and Limited '14s (at the very least) had different bulbs. Will these work with the Premium?

I think you could get HID with Premium. So bottom line is if you have HID, then D1S is your replacement bulb (like this one in the thread).


If Halogen, it's an H7 bulb.

Correct! If your Cadenza came equipped with factory HIDs this is the size bulb you need. If they did not then you'll want to look at our TRS HID kit in an H7 bulb size

Just seeing your post now several months later. Iím sure you got it figured out, but itís just a clip that pops off, sometimes it can be a little bit tight and a pain in the butt to remove though.
