Issues with 2015 Cadenza

Hi everyone! So my Cadenza is up for it's first service interval soon and I have two issues that are really bothering me. I purchased my car in March and it currently has around 7k miles. On cold starts the idle is super noisy and rough, to the point where the car shakes for the first minute or two. Then, I go out today to move the car and notice my dashboard material has almost completely separated from the dashboard. There is almost one giant bubble that separated the material directly behind the steering wheel.

Honestly, I'm very disappointed in what is supposed to be a premium Kia vehicle. We recently leased a 2017 Sportage SX and I'm worried. What should I bring up to Kia and what should I expect them to do to rectify the situation? Thank you for any suggestions!

You should take video and pictures of all problems so you can make sure it's documented. After that take it into the dealer and probably leave it overnight if you can so they can see it shake on a cold soak, that is obviously not normal. Your dash also sounds bad, without pics I can't say much except they should either replace it if it is bad or make sure it's fastened securely. Just be sure to make an appointment (not just for oil change, tell them these issues) and let them know you'll need a loaner. The preferred line can always help with these issues and schedule you with a dealer as well as document everything for you.

Thanks for the advice. I contacted the prefered line and they connected me with the dealer that sold me the car. The dash material separation is what has me the most worried. If they end up replacing the dash, I'm afraid, with all the fasteners involved, it won't be installed the same as factory.

I really enjoyed the car for the past 8 months. It is a Premium with tech and luxury packages in blue with black interior. Let's hope for the best. I almost want to contact KIA through social media to show them how bad the dash really is.

I just spoke with my selling dealer since I was originally planning on taking the car to them for its first complimentary service, but they informed me that they do no offer any loaner vehicles. I would have to drive up with my wife and drop the car off the night before. The premium line recommended that I take the car to the selling dealer so I scheduled their earliest available appointment, which is next Wednesday the 7th. Let's hope it goes smoothly.

I was originally planning on trying another dealer but the Preferred Line Specialist recommended I go to the dealer I purchased the car from. He said it would be better for them to service the car. I'm not exactly sure why though.

That makes sense I guess. I read that if it is a warranty repair, Kia would be on the hook for some kind of rental?

When mine was repaired under warranty, not for that, the Preferred Line Specialist arranged for me to have a rental car.
I had purchased the car new so that makes a difference, I think.
Was it a CPO that would give you a better warranty over a dealers warranty on a used car

I purchased the car brand new in March. So it should have full warranty.
